36th Annual Haight-Ashbury Street Fair® Sunday - June 9, 2013
The Annual Haight-Ashbury Street Fair (HASF) will once again be taking place on Haight Street and celebrating its 36th year of providing a showcase for this world famous neighborhood on Sunday, June 9, 2013.
And we are offering your business an opportunity to be a part of one of the most highly anticipated events of the San Francisco Sumer Event Season. Our event draws over 90,000 for this one-day festival not only from the Bay Area but also attracts people across the U.S.A. and the world.
We are seeking individuals, companies and foundations with an interest reaching out to a cross section of people who celebrate innovation, creativity and optimism. This is an opportunity to connect with the energetic and positive vibes of a generation that never grows old and manages to continually expand its horizons.
HASF is offering a variety of Sponsorship Levels designed to accommodate your marketing and outreach goals while simultaneously securing your imprint within the Haight-Ashbury Street Fair. Each level enables a Sponsor to focus on the various components that make-up the street fair. The outreach and marketing opportunities this event presents to participating Sponsors throughout the day are prodigious and plentiful.
The following pages contain brief descriptions of each Sponsorship level and the related Sponsorship Fee for the 36th Annual Haight-Ashbury Street Fair.
EVENT SPONSORSHIP CATEGORIES
As with all successful events and organizations, the Haight-Ashbury Street Fair is composed of numerous parts that are inter-connected yet are vital for their individual importance. These segments encompass planning, publicity, outreach and operations that require the support of a Sponsor to provide the means for its success. HASF is offering a variety of categories created to encourage support and participation from an Event Sponsor. Each category has a set of benefits that promotes and illustrates the Sponsor's generosity.
CORPORATE/MARKETING BOOTHS
The simplest way to participate in the street fair is by becoming a Booth Vendor. Booth Vendors are our Mini-Sponsors. Booth spaces (10' x 10') are located in The Vending Area that extends down seven blocks of Haight Street (from Masonic Avenue to Stanyan Street) and are available for commercial, exhibition or informational purposes. Corporate Marketing Campaigns will have access to a dynamic and vivacious outreach resource at the 36th Annual Haight-Ashbury Street Fair. The demographics for this event are quite diverse. This festival will enable Marketing Agencies to reach new audiences; provide promotional exposure for new or established products; and affirm a corporate interest in supporting free civic events in San Francisco.
Corporate/Marketing Booth Vendors are defined as:
Corporate/Marketing Vendors must comply with the following guidelines:
The Corporate/Marketing Booth Rate is $900 per 10' x 10' booth space. HASF also offers Multiple Booth Space Packages designed to maximize publicity and outreach. Multiple booth spaces will be based on space availability and terms of usage. CORPORATE/MARKETING BOOTH RATE: $900/Booth Space
STAGE SPONSOR
The heart and soul of Haight-Ashbury Street Fair is the free musical entertainment. Since 1978 when the first street fair on Haight Street was held, HASF has hosted established musical acts like Jefferson Starship, The Commander Cody Band, The Merle Saunders Band, The Tubes as well as Flipper, The Mother Hips and 4 Non Blonds. Performing at the Haight-Ashbury Street Fair has become a much sought after gig for many performing artists both in the Bay Area and nationally.
The two primary stages are The Masonic Stage (Masonic Avenue & Haight Street) and The Stanyan Stage (Stanyan Street & Haight Street). These two stages display a cross section of musical styles and genres. The line-ups vary from year to year but the bands and performers are well known to Bay Area music fans.
Stage Sponsors help fund Stage and Sound Production expenses for each respective stage. Stage Banners will display the Sponsor's names and business logo (See Box 1) as well as public acknowledgments throughout the day. The Sponsor's logo will appear on our website under Stage Sponsor.

In the categories of Premier Sponsorships, participating Sponsors will have significant opportunities to work directly with HASF in the overall design and proceedings of the 36th annual event. Funding in this category will provide the essential elements necessary to mount a professional production.
SUPPORTING SPONSOR
The role of a Supporting Sponsor is important in the development and implementation of our plans for the 2013 HASF. Funds raised in this category will go towards securing the primary necessities such as permits; radio equipment for Security; arrangements for the on-call medical services; and any other pre-production requirements. It will also enable us to organize an Administrative Crew that will oversee the entire production.
The Supporting Sponsor Benefits include:
Supporting Sponsor Rate: $8,000
MAJOR SPONSOR
Producing the annual Haight-Ashbury Street Fair requires the leadership and guidance of a Major Sponsor. The aim of this category is to develop a program that will maximize HASF's potential in outreach and marketing campaigns. Utilizing these outreach and promotional strategies will enhance our overall production values and guarantee a successful and professional event.
The Major Sponsor benefits include:
Major Sponsor Rate: $15,000
